The Salisbury Fire Department promotes five FCS II personnel to the rank of Engineer at a badge pinning ceremony on 11-08-2006. Promoted were Lonnie Horne, Chris Smith, Chipper Thomas, Bob Jarvis and Chad Walker. Captain Doug Stevens was named the new Assistant Fire Marshal. Five new firefighters received their badge, Eric Bost, Chris Haynes, Dwayne White, Houston Garris and Michael McNeil. Part-Time Firefighters were recognized as well, Kevin Dodd, James Stokes, Phillip Larimore, Brain Sebastian, Charles Norman and Ryan Swink. Rescue Engine 516 was dedicated at this event also. Family and guest attended as well. Special Guests were Bill Burgin of the Salisbury City Council and retire Assistant Fire Chief Thomas McDaniel and retired Deputy Fire Chief Marvin Yost. |
