Child Passenger Safety Program

The Salisbury Fire Department announces a Permanent Child Safety Seat Checking Station.

 •         Every Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

•         At 514 East Innes St., Fire Station 1 across from Wendy’s restaurant.

•         Pull in at the back of the station parking lot off of East Council St.

•         Please have the child with you for the check.

 Permanent Child Safety Seat Checking Station provides:

• A permanent location for parents/caregivers to be educated about child passenger safety (CPS)

•  Child restraints checked to insure they are installed & used correctly. 

•   Educational source for the community.

 The funding of this program was from the North Carolina Department of Insurance/Office of State Fire Marshal and the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program

This program is part of the ROWAN SAFE KIDS mission to prevent injury to children.
