| On 4-5-06 the Salisbury Fire Department answered a call at 1515 North Long St. for a fire in a barrel near a structure. Engine 511 responded. When they arrived the fire was impinging on the storage building. A First Alarm was requested. Before support units could arrive the building was fully involved. Salisbury had low humidity and a steady wind that helped to accelerate the fire spread. There were no injuries at this fire and the fire was limited to the storage building and one abandoned car. |
