This months Customer Service Award went to two companies for actions taken at call.  On December 22^nd, C Shift was dispatched to smoke in the structure call.  The investigation found that an electrical cord had shorted out.  The companies that were investigating the source was 516 and 533.  After the other companies were released, these two companies under the direction of (533)Capt. Mark Thompson, Eng. Ron Herion, FCS Shawn McBride, (516) Capt. Buddy Miller, Eng. Darrell Nichols and FCS Blake Nichols remained on the scene and performed some other tasks.  They helped the occupant with relighting her water heater, setting some clocks, and other small items.  The guys saw that with Christmas approaching, she didn’t appear to have much family and found out that she had a daughter that was killed.

These guys saw an opportunity and seized the moment.  Congratulations for a job well done!
