Charles King has worked for the City of Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department for more than a year in the maintenance division working on the Salisbury Greenway.

He graduated from East Rowan High School in 1975 and has been married to his wife Shelly for more than 16 years. They have two children, Brenna Katherine (12) and Dalton Edward (5).
